About Grasshopper Rock
Considered one of the world’s southernmost vineyards, Grasshopper Rock sits across the road from Clutha River, in Alexandra, South Island and is dedicate exclusively to central Otago Pinot Noir. Pinot Gris and Pinot Rosé are made from grapes sourced from other Central Otago vineyards.
They came to us because
Grasshopper Rock approached Unbound to help increase exposure of its wine amongst wine enthusiasts, who would usually buy from supermarkets or dedicated wine merchants. They wanted to increase sales and sell direct to these wine enthusiasts rather than try to compete on the shelves in stores.
What we did
The client held little experience in online marketing so our first step was establishing a robust analytics tracking system on the website so we could measure sales and club membership sign ups.
We then designed a multichannel ad campaign targeting wine enthusiasts around New Zealand via Facebook Ads, Google Shopping, Google Search, Google Display, Landing Page Optimisation and Conversion Rate Optimisation.
The metrics we used to measure results was online sales and club membership sign ups. Since starting the campaign, Grasshopper Rock has seen a steady increase in online sales as well as club membership sign ups.
