You may have noticed there have been some changes to the Google ecosystem lately, especially in relation to Google Business Profile. What you may not have come to grips with yet is how Google Listings are going to affect your Google Business Profile, the page where you used to accumulate all of those outstanding reviews from happy customers.

One of the main things we get asked is how to get more awesome Google Reviews on Google Business Profile.

Get Started With Google Business Profile

It’s easiest to think of Google Business Profile as the dashboard that contains handy information about your Google Listing. It is via Google Business Profile that you connect your listings in Google Ads so people can find you on the map when advertising.

Don’t have a page yet? Hop on over to google.com/business and set one up for your location.

Managing Your Listing

Now that you are all set up, you will want to access and manage your page. Google changed the way you manage your listing a few years back and they now show the options to manage your listing in the Google search result for your business (if you are the owner or manager), so if I Google “Unbound” I will see the options available to edit my business.

If you click on Performance you get an overview on activity, including the number of views:

As well as actions taken (i.e., clicks), including phone calls:

You will also be able to view your reviews under the Read reviews tab.

You can also click to view and then reply to reviews:

As you can see, this is now “the place” for your Business, and Google+ is the Stream.

How to Get More GoogleReviews

Back to your business and getting you more Google Reviews. Now that you are all set up ready to receive those outstanding reviews, There are two ways to get more reviews

  1. Manual Way

Manual Way to Get Google Reviews

In your Google Business Profile listing your should see an option to “Get more reviews”, if you click this you will get a QR code you cand save and print off and a link you can send out via email. This can easily be added to your invoices or your email signature.
